Awards and Recognition
Since its inception, Mind Blank has won multiple awards for its unique approach to mental health education and positive impact on program participants.
In 2017, Mind Blank received the Mental Health Matters Award for Mental Health Promotion from the New South Wales Mental Health Commission and Way Ahead Association NSW.
In conjunction with TeamHEALTH (Top End Mental Health provider), The Mental Health Service Learning Network gave Mind Blank the Mental Health Services award for Mental Illness Prevention. The 2019 award recognised the annual mental health awareness tour around Darwin, Palmerston, Katharine, and in rural/remote communities surrounding Kakadu National Park.
Mind Blank’s CEO and Founder, Ally Kelly, was individually recognised by Suicide Prevention Australia’s LiFE Awards in 2021 in the category of Outstanding Contribution in the Suicide Prevention Sector. This national award showcases the important work of suicide prevention and support of people affected by suicide across Australia.
